Affetto is an award-winning early music ensemble, based in Auckland, comprising five leading early music exponents. The combination of Soprano, Cornetto, Viola da Gamba and Theorbo provides an engaging range of sound colours and allows for flexibility of interpretation
Affetto’s CMNZ programme for 2015 includes a premier of a new work, Lady Macbeth, composed for the ensemble by Janet Jennings. The programme also includes works by Monteverdi and Strozzi.
