The following positions are currently available at Ascension:

 

Front of House

 

Bar and Restaurant Manager - Experienced and energetic manager with excellent wine knowledge and people skills required to lead our front of house team. Must be experienced in managing a restaurant, weddings and functions experience an advantage.

 

Full and part time waiting staff - Experience in a-la-carte service and functions required, 

 

Sous Chef - Responsibilities include Organising mise en place, supervising kitchen staff, running services when head chef is not on duty.

 

Vineyard Worker - Someone with green thumbs and experience to care for our most precious crop - our wine grapes. 

 

Maintainence Person - To oversee general maintenance of the grounds and buildings, great handyman skills required,

The following positions become available from time to time at Ascension, if you are interested in working with us you can always send your CV just in case a position becomes available: 

 

• Waiting Staff - Experience in a-la-carte service and functions, excellent remuneration and excellent tips

• Runners - Limited experience accepted, trained to become fully fledged member of wait-staff team.

• Front-of-House Supervisors - managing up to 10 staff members, excellent remuneration and working conditions

• Bar Person - experienced in cocktail making, coffee skills and all matters relating to the service of drinks. May also be required to help out with food service from time to time

• Chefs - in all disciplines, modern, clean working environment, friendly team.

• Cellar Door staff - Assisting in our busy cellar door providing tastings, and selling wine and related mechandise,.
